I saw that too. Not just any 94 points, but from a stingy reviewer who really does understand Portuguese wines well. I don't always agree with Mark, but he has a great palate and is focused on Portugal as one of his areas of expertise. So 94 points is a great wine from a guy who has never exceeded 96 for any Portuguese still wine.

Great price for this too. I realize it is not Douro and so should everyone else, that being said, there are excellent Touriga Nacionals coming out of the Dao region!

Congrats Andy! Was in the middle of a crazy day at work and saw the offering. Things were so crazy on my end (prolonged cold stretch in the East driving power and gas markets insane) that the amount of willpower was reduced, but I too passed.

Hefty price for Dao's I am use to buying...
14% alcohol doesn't sound typical of Dao wines either.
