1977 Gould Campbell Vintage Port

A bit of seepage noticed when the capsule was removed. Cork broke and crumbled a bit upon extraction. Similar to my last note (purchased from the same source), in that there was a medicinal, cherry cough syrup hint to it. It seemed a bit over-evolved and had an almost "baked" quality to it. Not up to the heights this wine can achieve. Still, it had copious flesh, reasonable complexity and went wonderful with Stilton. (89 pts.)
