1994 Adriano Ramos-Pinto Porto Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto (2/13/2014)
Kept in decanter and drank over several days. 5 days later it seems to be doing its best. Earlier on the alcohol was too distracting and brash. Thin in the mouth, shows chocolate flavors though the late palate is still distracted by brashness. The tannins are still there but not much else to support it. The aftertaste is pleasant but no complex flavors. All 4 bottles of RP 94 VP that I've had were similarly underwhelming. (86 pts.)
