Grants of St. James bottling, 3 hour decant. More red, distinctly, than four older Taylors (no surprise) and two younger (1966, 1968) served at the same time, and comparable to a 1970. Juicy berry aroma—really wonderful. Lots of fruit and juice in the mouth. Not as complex as I had hoped given the wonderful aromas, but a good finish. Later there was some marmalade and dried strawberry flavors. 92 points.
