2001 Dow Quinta do Bomfim Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - Light red in colour and nearly opaque. Odd nose , vibrant but stewed and floral. Smooth entry, restrained fruit dominated by tannin - light-weight and watery. Patience and work allows the fruit to show but tannins dominate. Dry fruit aftertaste and long finish is the best feature of this port. 85 points
