NV Dalva Medium Dry White Port

Decant: Not Known - Shown at the Dalva wine bar in Vila Nova de Gaia. A blend from the chef Miguel Castra da Silva; approximately 15 years average age of wines. Golden orange in colour. Served chilled, this was quite subdued on the nose showing a little VA and strawberries. Sweet, balanced entry bringing good mouthfilling flavours and a nice medium-bodied texture dominated by sweet kumquats. There is a slight plastic tone to the aftertaste, but then a long and pleasant finish. A nice aperitif wine. 85 points
