2009 Dona Matilde Vintage Port

Decant: Not Known - From Barao de Vilar. Deep red and opaque. Showing freshly crushed brambles on the nose. Lovely texture on impact with smooth, sweet fruit on an over-ripe melon. The tannins and soft and supportive but a little green. This will be an early maturing vintage port (available from Laithwaites in the UK). 87 points
