1970 Dow Vintage Port

Decant: 2 hours - From magnum. Mahogany red in colour, 40% opaque. Restrained nose, mainly showing alcohol and candied fruit. Silky entry with wonderful flavours. A lively, spicy acidity supports beautiful pure fruit giving a stunning palate and aftertaste - a hugely long finish. Very fine port. 94 points
