For The Love Of Port

Decant: 9½ hours - Sourced from Seckford Wines. Rich red colour, with a rose rim; 30% opaque. Rich and sweet on the nose, generous levels of fruit but with a streak of rhubarb in the mox. Little on the initial palate, dry and softly tannic; very restrained and reluctant to show anything. Eventually some sweetend redcurrant on the palate. the aftertaste and finish is big, dry and fruity with bramble and a green herbaceous core. Pleasant, but needing more time. 88 points
