Decant: Not Known - Bottled by John Harvey & Sons Ltd of 12 Denmark Street, Bristol.
Deep red colour, some bricking in the centre; 80% opaque. Just a little gentle heat on the nose, with some soft applemint. Sweet and balanced entry bringing generous sweet fruit with a core of acidity and still some gentle tannin. Thick texture. Gentle white pepper and hawthorn on the aftertaste before a very long hawthorn finish. 90 points
