Decant: 3 hours - Bricking rim, deep centre, still 80% opaque. Stewed red fruit on the nose with the sweetness of the fruit dominating the first impression on the palate. Soft tannins and gentle acidity support a restrained fruit presence. Good palate structure and a big fruity aftertaste that gives way to a long birch sap finish that is rather enjoyable. 88 points
