1987 Romaneira Vintage Port

Decant: Pop 'n' pour - Mature red-brown colour, with a firm rim. Nicely developed nose showing soft, ripe strawberries. Lovely sweet fruit on impact, concentrated strawberry syrup. Very soft and gentle tannins but slightly flabby and lacking focus. A bit of heat on the aftertaste, lots of dusty tannins and then a long and delicious finish - aniseed balls and strawberries. Very pleasant drinking with plenty of life ahead of it. 84 points
