2011 Romaneira Vintage Port

Decant: 1-4 days - A bit subdued on the nose, but with attractive, earthy redcurrant and cranberry. The redcurrants show on entry, concentrated and ripe. Early on the fruit shows some greeness, but this adds to the interest rather than detracts. Plenty of acidity and the reluctant tannins are round and relaxed. Sweet fruit and mild pepperiness on the sweet finish. Delightfully balanced. Possibly a little light? 90-92. 90 points
