1945 Taylor Vintage Port

Decant: 2½ hours - Deep brick red; warm, mature and attractive - 50% opaque. Slightly spicy on the nose, with lots of nutmeg, a little alcohol and concentrated cherry. Rich texture, flavoursome and mouthfilling; grows to be a very big wine on the palate with a lovely glycerol texture. A huge aftertaste and tremendous length. This is a massive and fabulous wine. 96 points
