1985 Taylor Vintage Port

Decant: 3 hours - Deep red and mature; 70% opaque. A touch of heat on the nose, showing some strawberries but less developed than the 1983. Neutral entry, surprisingly hollow at first but sweet strawberry jam eventually comes through on the palate together with a lovely cedar overtone. Wonderful deep aftertaste with a huge flash of cedar before a very long black chocolate aftertaste of long length -a great finish. 87 points
