Decant: Not Known - Deep red with some bricking; 70% opaque. Soft red fruit syrup and a gentle rhubarb with lots of green herbs on the nose. A surprising lack of fruit on impact but brings a concentrated sweetness. Plenty of dry tannins and elegant acidity. Some cranberry syrup comes through on the palate and leads to a gentle aftertaste and lingering licorice root finish. Rather closed. 86 points
