I tasted this wine quite a few times over the last couple of years, but noticed that I never posted a TN here. I did post one on WS though about two years ago, that I will paste here. Notes of a recent experience (a week ago) are beneath the TN.
Very concentrated colour, deep purple going to black in the centre. Small, bright purple rim. The nose is wonderful: abundant fruit, green herbs (lots of bay leaf) and characteristic sweet bananas (not too much though, a nice balance). It tastes very powerful and young. Blackberries, blueberries, cherries, lots of herbs, some pepper and a lovely freshness. Medium bodied and beautifully integrated tannins. The finish is long and spicey.

I liked this wine very much and LadyR and I had no trouble whatsoever to finish the bottle; this is drinking like a dream. No harm done by cellaring it a little while longer though. I guess that in two / three years time it will gain some in complexity and be even smoother and lovelier. 91 RR points.
We drank our last bottle of this wine, and it was peak drinking. Indeed smoother and more complex that 2 years ago. The bananas are gone, and some leather / tobacco tones have emerged. Lovely wine. Still 91/92 points. No need to hurry if you have some, but a great pleasure to start drinking them now.
