2000 C. da Silva "Presidential LBV

This seemed like a good deal, but I though I'd throw it out to you all just to make sure.
K&L Wines has 2000 C. da Silva "Presidential LBV for $7.99 for a 750ml (

This seems like a good deal, but I've never had this LBV. Is this LBV worth that price?

can't say i've had this one either, but I just picked up 2 magnums of it from winecommune for about $20.00 a mag. The pic they showed was of a magnum of 2000 VP from C.Da Silva, so either their heading was wrong or the picture was wrong. Either way, $20.00 for a mag was a no brainer. I'll find out when they arrive next week.
As for K&L..I say for the price, go for it. If you don't like it you can always cook with it

C da Silva is used to market mostly in europe Presidential for the states both exactly the same I've had the 82 vintage which was very light and weak but so was the price.Altogether okay for everyday drinking.

I was only five when Churchill went to meet his maker, so no.
It's a classic quote of his, although often misquoted as 'madam' rather than 'miss'. He was no stranger to getting drunk, mainly on claret and soda - which seems an odd brew - but he liked it!

John,
Members of the SAS (your equivalent is Special Forces) cannot reveal their identity for fear of compromising national and personal security so, even if he was a member of the SAS, I'm afraid to report that Tom could not tell us.
