Cheaper in America!

My collection of Vesuvio vintages has a noticeable gap - the first one - 1989.
OK, I haven't got 2001 or 2004 either, but I'm confident they'll turn up on the auction circuit in due course.
But from time to time I check out wine-searcher to look for the elusive '89, to see if anyone's offering it at a reasonable price.
Well, someone is, but reasonable is not the word I would give the price..
If Fine & Rare wines really think it's worth £60/bottle (after tax), they might take some time to find a buyer (or mug..)
But in the US it's on offer for less than half that amount..
- so sometimes (just sometimes..) - you get the better end of the deal!
