For The Love Of Port

While on the phone with my buddy Mario Ferreira today, he suggested that we should have a seperate area for Douro table wines and although I am very reluctant to add new Forums, this was a great idea and clearly worthy of its own space. Thank you Stewart for making this happen so quickly!


There are few places on the internet where you will find a Forum dedicated to the mostly red wines of the Douro region. I have a feeling this will fill up rather quickly, as the wines are improving every year and the world is catching on. There are already a number of "cult" wines made in the Douro, while at the same time there are little known wonders ie., some of the sparkling wines from the region.

I am very pleased to see this Forum starting to take off. I will be trying a plethora of Douro wines (non-Ports) while in Portugal and will report back here or in an upcoming newsletter article.
