Dear Roy
I have an extremely rare bottle of Vintage Port for sale: Ferreira 1815

As you know, this is an EXTREMELY rare vintage "the Comet year" and it comes “out of a Royal cellar in St James’s Palace, London”. Prior to that, it was straight from Ferreira in Portugal. It is in perfect condition.

I am selling it as a favor for the owner. Do you know anyone who might want to buy it? I brought it back with me from London, having collected it myself from St. James's Palace. Any interested party should contact me directly. Price is $5,000

Thanks!

Bartholomew Broadbent

PS... If any of you are seriously interested PM me for Bartholomew's email address. From what I know, this is the oldest Vintage Port that has been documented, remaining in Portugal.

Incredible, 1815!!! Vintage, I can not imagine what's the feeling of having that in my hands, when I grab my 1890 Colheita from Burmester it's an incredible sensation, but 1815...wowww!
Who wants to make a Joint Venture for a group buy?ehehehe!

PS- I will keep this botte in mind, for a possible customer at Vinologia! If there's something I know, it0s that we never know who's going to enter in the next 5 minutes!

How does this wine survive so long? Has it been recorked over and over? Will a bottle like this ever be drunk?

Not to brag, but we recently had two bottles of 1815 Colheitas, one of which was Ferreira, the other was the predecessor of Royal Oporto. Both showed up to the party and wowed the majority of tasters.
