How much faster do 375ml bottles age versus 500ml and 750ml bottles?

If if is approximately twice the aging curve of 750ml, then I think it is a great way to still be able to buy some of the most ageworthy/top vintage ports without having to wait until (my) age 70/80+ for the 750ml bottles to approach drinkability.

Also, at home we don't often finish a 750ml easily in a night or two. That's why I sometimes don't decant and follow if over multiple days from the fridge.

My vote is for BOTH 375ml AND 500ml in addition to the standard 750ml sizes.

My article on the 500 ml bottles was hopefully to catch the eye of one or more of the folks in Portugal. If I stand alone in wanting to see the 500 ml bottles, then clearly there will be no change.

Of course I understand your rationale as well.

There has never been conclusive scientific studies done that has PROVED beyond a doubt, the effective aging potential of various bottle sizes, alone or in comparison to one another.
