NV Niepoort 10 Year Old Tawny

Tasted as a blind group of seven 10-Year Tawnies; all opened one hour prior; this one had a driven cork. Bottled 2013. I had this 1 out of 7--the WOTN.
Burnt blood oraange color. Toffee, butterscotch and hazelnut nose. Taste brings forth roasted orange zest, butterscotch, hint of white pepper. Moderate finish that suggests hazelnut. Above average sweetness; on verge of being too much. For a 10 year old it brings a lot of depth and easily was the best of the night.
