For The Love Of Port

Very acidic, with pronounced balsamic notes, leather and dried out fruit. This has sadly died (and not gone to heaven)...

I knew it was a long shot when I bought this (second wine, made for the first time and from a mediocre vintage), but needless to say I had hoped for something a little bit better. Have one bottle left, so hopefully there will be some bottle variation.

I've just bought some 08s of this wine at auction so I'll be hoping for a bit more. It's a better vintage, and I paid next to nothing for them so it is worth the risk.
