1985 Calem Vintage Port

From day 1 of the 1985 horizontal, 24-25 Jan 2015, Holiday Inn Issaquah. All Ports were tasted blind. Unless otherwise noted, Ports were decanted for ~4 hours the morning of the tasting. The ones that I decanted received ~8 hours of decant overnight and were then stoppered for another ~6 hours until the tasting.
1985 Calem Vintage Port
Color: Medium dark red with brown tones
Nose: Faintly musty and fruity. Smells like an older Port, meaning older than 1985.
Palate: Soft, medium full, secondary, and mature. Another daily drinker. Not much in the way of tannins, and the acidity is only decent. I don't see much improvement, so drink up (and probably soon).
Score: 86 points. Somewhat more complex than #6 (Martinez) and #7 (Infantado), but still a Port that should be consumed reasonably soon.
