2005 Quinta do Noval Silval vintage port

4 hrs decanting. Dark red colour. Powerful deep aroma of humid cellar and a lot of oak. Full body. Quite smooth and powerful at the start, then a touch of being medicinal, before the fruit is coming on. A bit rough in style. Relatively short aftertaste. 87 pts.
