1970 Taylor Vintage Port -- Port Freak

I've been drinking them for 40 years-how many ??? 75-100-150 ??? very hard to tell.

Most have been tannic even now. but now some have been completely mature.

I'm a sucker for this wine at mature I just turn the glass and reflect. this is great sh--.

Geez... only have a few bottles of this vintage. Certainly not a weekday port for me at least. Other 70's I can be more cavalier with.

This has been a great bottling for many years (although there is some significant bottle variation). Glad that these have shown well!! Didn't someone on the board name their daughter after this wine?!

I agree that by and large this has hit it's plateau, and will remain on it for many years to come. But I generally don't see it getting any better as I do with its brother the Fonseca.
