Bearing in mind the very difficult year in Douro, this LBV was quite good.
Decanted 3 hrs. When decanting there were a lot sediments, much more than normal in a LBV. Medium dark red colour. Relatively fresh aroma of minerals, smoked meat and blackcurrant. Medium to full body. Taste is quite smooth, a bit juicy with noticeable tannins. Medium to long aftertaste. 88 pts.
