Purchased at auction. Surprisingly dark and dense and gives off a cherry floral aroma generously and deeply; almost no sediment. This looks like its 10 years old, not 21 and that concept runs through the entire experience--this could easily age another 10 or more. Aged mashed dark fruits, cherry, blackberry pie, white pepper all nicely blended together--while the fruit has some age on it, it could go much further and morph to something even better. Honestly, this could be a VP it is that good and nuanced. Lingering finish with just a hint of hotness at the end.
