I've not had this vintage yet so I picked up a bottle for a whole $12...what could go wrong? Well it turns out nothing went wrong. I love when that happens. A nice medium-light bodied wine with some cracked pepper, restrained dark cherries, a touch of light tannins that stay in the background, and a medium length finish. Nothing out of place, nothing bitter, or offputting. Not a blockbuster, ok it's like $12 remember so give it a break, but a darn good daily drinker. This producer makes some darn good wines across the price spectrum and this lower priced one doesn't disappoint. I just wish more people would seek this producer out here in the States.
