For The Love Of Port

I know this is not a Portuguese tablewine....But I had nowhere else to adress it.

This old Bagaceira, has anyone tried it? Aparently an Aquadente made from the skin of the grapes?
What is the alkohol%

The "bottle" is hard clay, and the cork will be impossible to replace.

Please help....If the juice is to strong, I will have difficulties drinking the hole bottle in one sitting...

Can't comment really on the wine, but that bottle is incredible. I've never seen a clay bottle before. Where on earth did you find it? Auction?

I get more than 50% of my Ports from Portugal, either at auctions or directly from private sales, or eBay.

This one I have seen a few times around, so when I saw it, at a resonable Price (50 €) I got it.

Honestly, I thought it was a Port....But true, the bottle is very special.

Genever (Dutch gin) often comes in ceramic bottles, and there are some European beers that do as well, those typically with flip tops.
