For The Love Of Port

Purchased one, then 6 more and now I'm thinking of another full case. At less than $20, this is our everyday port. If you put this in a blind tasting as the ringer you might fool more than a few people. T stopped bottle, unfiltered and bottled in 2013. No sediment as I decanted this dark beauty whose aroma filled my nose with lots of fruit. After 5 hours of decant this had opened up with rich nose of mixed dark red fruits. On the palate I thought it was a bit sweet, then came the strawberry jam with tea leaf. This port was almost chewy. The finish was adequate, smooth with the lingering of fruit, I wished it was longer! More of the same the next day sitting here typing this out, just smoother. I would imagine that this port would be good to go for at least another decade and I plan to find out! 92+pts.
