Aromas of grape stemp, grape skin, leather, cinnamon, and cocoa. True to SW77 form, this is incredibly young for a 1977, much more so than the Dow, Graham, and Warres tasted at the same time. There is a rich integrated flavor, and it is hard to pick out individual components. There are nice tannins and acid too. It is a little minty in the mouth. It is really coming around, with a nice integration, lots of tannins, and lots of rich tang. 93 points. And probably better than the Dow which I also scored 93.
