Deep dark color, bottle in perfect condition. Tasted pop and pour.
Nose incredibly focused and deep in blackberries and black fruits pie filling impressive but bordering on artificial. Palate is equally fruity, with gripping tannins and a broad blackberry pie filling finish. This has decent acidity, so it's not overdone, but this is a lot of what you'd want in your ruby reserve: fruit, structure, approachability. Could only use a bit more diversity of fruit.
