TN: 2012 Pintas (Wine & Soul) Douro red

4 hrs decanting. Dark purple colour. Douro-aroma of fruit, oak and minerals, and in addition tiny bit cardamom. Full body. Powerful and silky elegant in a nice combination. Fruit all the way with plenty minerals towards the end. Quite dry tannins. Long aftertaste. One of the best 2012 Douro reds. 94 pts.
