Decanted 3 hrs. Dark purple colour. Deep aroma of berries/oak/minerals in the typical Douro-style. Touch of flowers and vanilla. Full body. Powerful and elegant in a fantastic harmony. Some acidity, however well integrated. Not too sweet. One of the best Douro reds from 2011. Good value for money. 95 pts.

I've been hit and miss with this wine over the years, so glad to hear this vintage is so good.
