Ferreira bottled in 1962, 1971 & 1972; Dow from 1973 and Niepoort from 1972..

..and this is not a category I major on..
Sorry for late reply, but really interesting Tom. In a way only 3 brands from 60's and 70's you can recall of makin Tawnies with indication of age.. It means even if Carlos was mistaking about a precise date, it was the very beginning. I have not seen any Tawny before 1960... I mean with a proper label declaring the age of the blend.
