TN: 2011 Casa Ferreirinha Quinta da Leda Douro red

Decanted 4.5 hrs. A lot of sediments. Deep, deep purple colour, nearly black. Super Douro aroma of dark red berries, oak, minerals and a touch of smoked bacon. Full body. Powerful, elegant, rich, taste of berries, oak and minerals (chist). Wonderful wine. Slightly on the dry side. A demanding wine. Medium length aftertaste 95 pts.
