This is not limited to Douro wines although it is clear from postings of 85-90+% ... that's what Forumites post about drinking. But in reality your responses can be from any region ... as long as these are still wines and not fortified Portuguese wines.

I don't drink a lot of table wine during the year - that's my wife's domain. I appreciate them, but prefer fortified.
Forced to pick a favorite I'd go with
Casal Sta. Maria Ramisco 2009
Since we don't have sub-forums and threads for "Other Portuguese Fortified Wines" - I'll show my love here. Sorry Roy

My absolute favorite Portuguese wines that are not Port or Madeira are Moscatel de Setúbal.
I have many favorites from JM Fonseca and Horácio Simões.
My pick of the year is
JM Fonseca Alambre 40yo.
Mind blowingly intense, on-par with S. Leonardo 60yo tawny.

Red:
2017 Quinta da Manuella VV
Rare Red:
1997 Quinta da Leda (I've never had this and have never seen a bottle of it before. First year it was produced. A real treat to finally try it.)

A tie between Niepoort Charme 2004 and Chryseia 2000 - both showing beautifully.
Biggest disappointment was probably Quinta do Crasto Touriga Nacional 2001: overoaked, tiring and not worth the hype. A good decision to use coravin on it, so we could move on to something more exciting after one glass without feeling guilty.
