TN: 2016 Julio Bástos Dona Maria Touriga Nacional

A power bomb of aromas, with some soap and a little bit of that chemical character that I found in the 2018 Amantis Reserva Viognier. Smells of deep dark fruit, blueberry, raspberry, a little bit of grape skin, and grape stem. Big and powerful fruit flavor too, with orange citric acid. Give this time to evolve. It has reasonable tannins now, but are there enough for long term aging? I find this not overly complex now. Parker would have loved this? 90 points.
