TN: 2014 Cartuxa Pêra-Manca Tinto

Deep and dark magent color, fairly opaque. Aromas of esteva, plum, concentrated plum and fig, with smoke, tar, creosote, raspberry, and cherry. Later I noted smoked prunes, rose, red apple skin, and smoked malt. The flavor was smoky as well. Lots of tannins, but not so powerful as to be unpleasant. Concentrated, concentrated fruit, that carries into a long finish. 92 points.
