2000 Presidential LBV Port -- (C. Da Silva)

Just got home from work and thought I'd give this bottle a go. Can't recall ever having an LBV from Presidential (Dalva to the rest of the world). I have no idea if this is filtered or not, as the label doesn't say. It does have a driven cork though.
My first taste: It appears to be a fairly dark ruby red, but it's a little dark in my den. A very typical young perfume nose of dark plums and cherries. The first thing I noticed on the palate is the hugh amount of acidity in this, way out of balance right now. Then some heat followed by some tannins, then a little bit of fruit, and a short finish.
The nose is the best thing going for this right now...but I just opened it. I'll try and see how it evolves over the next couple of days, if it lasts that long.
