Which shipper do you drink most of?

Sascha's recent posting made me curious to know which shipper's ports you drink most often. I commented that I don't drink many of Niepoort's wines but I wondered which wines I do drink most frequently. I looked at my tasting notes and found this from the last two years (only listing shippers I have drunk on at least 5 occasions):

Noval (inc. Nacional) - 34 bottles
Vesuvio - 28 bottles
Warre - 20 bottles
Morgan - 17 bottles
Dow - 16 bottles
Vargellas - 14 bottles
Grahams - 11 bottles
Niepoort - 11 bottles
Taylor - 9 bottles
Fonseca - 8 bottles
Cockburn - 7 bottles
Fonseca Guimaraens - 7 bottles
Kopke - 7 bottles
Sandeman - 7 bottles
Berry Brothers own label - 6 bottles
Q. da Crasto - 6 bottles
Croft - 6 bottles
Ferreira - 6 bottles
Q. da Cavadinha - 5 bottles
Gould Campbell - 5 bottles
Smith Woodhouse - 5 bottles

While I have always known that I am a sucker for Vesuvio and just love their ports, there were quite a few surprises in my list with some of the most frequently drunk wines being there because of availability and price (Morgan, for example). However, although I have always known that I like Noval wines, I was astonished to see that this was the shipper that I had drunk more often than any other in the last two years.

How does this compare with other people on the forum?

Hmmm...

Without any verification, I drink (for VP's) Ramos Pinto, Croft, and Grahams the most for non-TN drinking ports. For TN drinking ports, well I can just count the reviews on this site.

This all depends on what is on offer at the supermarkets!

For actual drinking then it is probably Dow, Fonseca, Graham and Warre. For opening up and throwing into the Bolognese then it is Warre and Croft as these have been the best offers recently.

This is a real good question Alex... one I haven't really been around to answer over the past few days.

Being relatively new to Port, and particularly VP, I have been trying to sample as many of the producers that are available in my area. (I know, a daunting task, but one I am happy to undertake! :salute: :drunk: ) to get a real feel for what I like and what I am willing to pay the big bucks for to put into my cellar for the long haul.

The short answer being, I'm not sure. I don't really track too much of my consumption, so I don't really have too much of a clue as to which producer I have leaned toward over the past year or so.

I would suspect Taylor LBV would play a significant role in my consumption, due to its attractive price and consistent quality. If I could afford more of it, or FIND more of it, Warre and Noval's LBV offerings would be right up there in numbers as well.

Cellar Tracker ( thanks to Eric Levine) tells me I have more Taylor, Graham's Fonseca and Dow in the collection and it seems I drink the most ports from those shippers in that same proportion.
