1983 Ramos Pinto Touriga Nacional Vintage Port

This is a single varietal VP that wine maker Joao Nicolau De Almeida produced.
This grape is used for power and color. This is still very dark, not as flowery as the Franca and this show more heat. It fills the mouth with thick fruit and a wonderful, but a bit harsh, finish. I see why this is the power house.
