1994 Quinta do Noval Nacional Vintage Port

- 1994 Quinta do Noval Porto Vintage Nacional - Portugal, Douro, Porto (10/27/2005)
Tasted at Quinta do Noval in the Douro - Tasted blind. Not decanted beforehand – unfortunately. My guess is 1997 Nacional - turns out it 1994 Nacional! Very nice black fruits. Tannins came in very late. This isn’t a monster wine at all. Medium bodied. Nice long finish. (93+ pts.)
