Hi all,

Just to ask an opinion to the board....

How much, is $ or €, can worth a 1994 Dow's Vintage in a 6 Litre Bottle?

A 1994 Dow's can be purchased in the US for about $75 per bottle, so $600 for 6 liters. But a 6-liter bottle seems like a pretty rare thing, so I would guess that it would have a premium price. I've never seen a 6-liter bottle before... just 1.5 liter magnums.

Glenn is right - 6 Litre bottles are extremely rare - I don't think the producers are allowed to ship them out of Portugal, so the price is whatever you set it, if you ever get the chance to obtain one!

I would guess around $1000+ just for the rarity factor. :?

Good grief that's an amazing price... very well done João!

I second the question, are there any more available? And do they ship to the US?

In the last newsletter that entire batch of Fonseca 1977s are 6 liters in the photo. If you want to see them in person or actually hold one, come on one of our trips. I can guarantee you a photo holding onto a young or old bottle that is 6 liters in size. 8--)
