Rocha The Glorious 50th Anniversary Port

Alex brought some cigars (which shall remain nameless
) so I opened this 1/2 bottle to enjoy with them. Keep in mind the TN here may be a bit off as we were smoking at the same time as taking this note. But here is our combined TN on this very good Tawny.
The nose has iodine, brown sugar, walnuts, mixed nuts, cake batter, and orange peel. The palate has very lively acidity, carmel, toffee, and some iodine on the back palate and finish. The finish quite long with very good structure. Although a bit handicap due to the cigar, which was light bodied but paired quite well with this bottle of Port. A very good combo and the perfect night cap.
