This is the second vintage of this, the 2004 being the first. Lots of Bing cherries and oak on the nose. A nice light bodied red full of white cherries, tannins, good acidity, in a smooth body. While not a blockbuster, this is a very nice easy drinking wine that could go with a lot of meals. I do prefer the 2004 version a good bit more than this second verson. 87 points.

Seems like a bit of a disappointment after the 2004? I liked that wine very much, probably around 90-91 points for me. I hope it was not a one off!

Yes, the 2004 version I gave 91 points and I really liked it. To be fair, this bottle arrived after a couple days in transit and just a few hours before being opened. So it is entirely possible it was suffering some shock after spending 2 days in the mail system. I'd have to revisit it to really make a solid determination about how it is.

That can make a huge difference indeed. Please do give an update if you taste another one!
