NV Graham's Six Grapes Reserve Port

I've always enjoyed this Reserve Port, by far one of the best in its class. Yet it had been a while since the last time I have had it. Tonight that changed, and after not much port this month, this 1/2 bottle hit the spot. Very dark purple with dark boysenberry, blueberry, and plums on the nose. The palate is very silky, with a touch of heat that nicely balances out the mocha, blueberries, and a touch of cedar just showing up on the finish. While the tannins are soft they still have some grip to them in the medium length finish. This is such the solid QPR Port for anyone looking for a daily drinker. 87 points

What I forgot to mention is that Six Grapes is not fined or filtered. Not may Reserve Ports can say that and why it proves to be such a solid non-vintage Port year in and year out.
