For The Love Of Port

WinesTilSoldOut.com is having a "large format" marathon sale on Thursday, October 2nd, starting at midnight Eastern and running throughout the day. Most of what they offer during the sale will be wine, but they indicated that there are a few ports in the mix as well. They're offering Magnums, double Mags, and even a few Imperials.

Their marathon sales are fun and frustrating at the same time... fun because they offer so many different wines at great prices, but frustrating because they only offer one wine at a time (until it is sold out... duh...) and the wines are sometimes only available for minutes before they're gone. You really have to be on the ball in order to get what you want.

Thus the point of this post!

If you happen to check http://www.winestilsoldout.com during the day on Thursday and notice that they have a Port up, reply to this thread. That way those of us who are interested can subscribe to this thread and get an email notice when they have a Port available!

I'm not associated with WinesTilSoldOut in any way other than being a happy customer. I have purchased 50+ bottles of wine through them and have never had a problem.

Well that was a complete bust. I checked the web site at least 20-30 times during the day, and not once did I see a Port or a bottle larger than a Magnum (both were promised in their email announcement). I saw numerous repeats throughout the day as well, which leads me to believe that they weren't actually selling much.

I noticed that as well.. Several repeats and not all of the wines were Mags or larger. I guess the term "large" could be used liberally and mean "large quantities available"???
